Each year VCS offer a five-day course for scientists working in
cytopathology laboratories. The course is tailored for medical
laboratory scientists with previous professional experience and/or
formal training. The course is directed at scientists with at
least one year full-time screening experience. The aim of the
course is to consolidate basic knowledge and practice in cytology.
Special attention will be given to diagnostic problems, and the
current role of cytology in the cervical screening program.
