Ms Grace Tan

Grace is a senior scientist with more than 25 years’ experience specialising in gynaecological cytology. She has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the strategic and operational requirements of a pathology laboratory. Her current focus is managing the workforce for the transition to the new National Cervical Screening Program in 2017. Grace was a member of the Examiners Board for the Australian Society of Cytology (ASC) for eight years, three of which she served as Chief Examiner. She is an active member of the ASC and has presented at both local and national ASC meetings. She remains a current committee member of the Victorian Branch of the ASC, having served as the State Councillor for three years. She is also a member of the RMIT Program Advisory Committee, where she is engaged as an industry expert in the program quality review.
