Lara Vojnov is the Diagnostics Advisor in the Global HIV, Hepatitis and STI Department at the World Health Organization. In this role, Dr. Vojnov leads normative guidance development and country support for HIV diagnostics, including viral load and early infant diagnosis as well as laboratory quality and development. Prior to this, Lara worked as the Senior Scientist in diagnostics for the Clinton Health Access Initiative, living in Tanzania and Liberia. She received her PhD in immunology and virology.
