Our Services

Our suite of services across three business divisions provides expert advice and services in cancer prevention and population health to governments and healthcare providers across Australia and the world.

As a result of these integrated services, Victoria has one of the lowest cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates in the world. Now we’re extending our expertise to assist Australia and other nations to achieve the global commitment of eliminating cervical cancer as a public health problem.

SERVICES

Services we provide

We work collaboratively with Australian and overseas governments as well as healthcare agencies and not-for-profit organisations, by providing support for the implementation and monitoring of screening and vaccination programs. We use the latest advances in HPV-based screening and our award-winning population health management platform, canSCREEN®, to effectively respond to the needs of participants, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

"As of July 1, anyone who is eligible for screening, may choose self-collection "

Our pathology laboratory specialises in cervical screening and is committed to gynaecological health. Along with HPV, cytology and histo-pathology tests, we also offer STI, COVID-19 and other respiratory illness testing.

Our innovative and integrated digital healthcare solutions advance global health through our population health management platform and a broad range of IT service management expertise including canSCREEN®.

ACPCC and VCS Pathology is home to the Australian HPV Reference Laboratory. Launched in November 2021, the laboratory assists a range of stakeholders in the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) to adapt to the new HPV-based cervical screening.

ACPCC boasts an unrivalled combination of experience in delivering and managing population health services through registries, health information management, reporting and statistics, epidemiology, research and evaluation.

VCS Pathology was the first pathology service in Australia to report self-collected HPV tests as part of the National Cervical Screening Program. Self-collection allows eligible participants to take their own vaginal sample for HPV testing, removing a significant barrier to participation in screening.
