Cancer Screening Data, Reporting and Surveillance Services

ACPCC prepares and publishes the Victorian Cancer Screening Annual Statical Report. Additional data not found on the Annual Statistical Report can be requested for consideration and release. We also provide data, surveillance and reporting solutions to support the Victorian Cancer Screening Framework (VCSF). The VCSF aims to improve prevention and early detection of Breast, Bowel and Cervical cancers in Victoria, particularly among priority communities. We work closely with VCSF partners to produce high quality integrated reports to monitor screening participation, follow-up and outcomes across the three flagship cancer screening programs.

Bowel Cancer Screening Participant Follow-up

ACPCC delivers the Victorian Participant Follow-up Function (PFUF) on behalf of the Victorian Department of Health. The ACPCC PFUF team supports the follow up of National Bowel Cancer Screening Program participants who have returned a positive screening result. The PFUF team contact participants to promote the screening pathway and minimise undue delays in bowel cancer diagnoses, participant uncertainty, and ultimately contributes to better cancer outcomes.
